Speed Crafting Event – 2nd December 2023

speed craftingCreech St Michael Speed Crafting Social Event

An opportunity to discover new crafts, meet new people and enjoy a drink and nibbles

Join us on Saturday 2nd December, 6.30pm-9.30pm, in Creech St Michael Village Hall.

What is it?

An opportunity to try out a craft with an expert tutor, before deciding to take more lessons or invest in lots of costly materials. Our talented crafters will show small groups how to make a simple item and will provide all the materials needed. Due to the ‘speed’ nature of the event each craft session is just a little taster, so some items might already be partly made, or need to be finished at home.  However, you will receive full instructions and guidance from your teachers.

Each person will be able to try 4 crafts, and these will be allocated randomly on the night.  Come along with an open mind and willingness to try new things and meet new people as we can’t guarantee friends who come together will be in the same craft groups.

What crafts can I try?

Details are still being finalised but are may include crafts such as: painting, watercolour, clay modelling, crochet, card making, wreath-making, paint pouring, brush lettering, calligraphy, rock art, sketching, knitting, decoupage, baubals, pebble art,
